• At FBSLSC, we believe that all children are entitled to access programs where they can learn critical beach safety and awareness skills

• Starfish is a modified Nippers program tailored to children with special needs

• Runs alongside the regular age group Nippers programs

• Conducted in 2 x 5 week blocks starting in November and February

• Includes children with autism, attention deficit disorder, Down Syndrome, Asperger's Syndrome and various physical and intellectual disabilities

• Activities include; beach games, beach running, beach flags, water familiarisation and surf safety
