2019/2020 CLUB AWARDS

Dear Members,

As you are aware we were unable to proceed with our senior presentation at the end of last season as planned. We have held off for a while hoping that restrictions would ease so we could have some form of celebration. However, it was not to be and with our 2020 season well under way we thought it best to send notification to you all of our award winners for the 2019 season!

It gives us great pleasure to announce the award winners for the 2019 season - Congratulations to you wonderful people! Members of the committee will seek you out over the coming weeks to present you with your gifts.

For those members who missed out, your contributions to our club have not gone unnoticed. We thank and applaud you all and are looking forward to being able to celebrate the 2020 season in our usual way!

VOLUNTEERS NEED - COVID CLUB MARSHALLS

For our club to operate smoothly this year we will require approximately 10-15 volunteers to carry out the role of COVID Marshall. COVID Marshalls will need to oversee the sign-in process for Nippers and other events throughout the season and will also need to make sure that members are adhering to social distancing rules etc.

Our volunteers need to be members who are not currently fulfilling another officer or executive role, and we are asking for 10-15 people so that the job can be shared around each week to reduce the amount of hours/times you need to be available.

Tanya Squires has been awarded Life Membership to Fingal Beach Surf Lifesaving Club for services rendered throughout her 12 years of membership.
